Thank you for completing your application for HMW Partners Secure Client Area. We hope you find this to be a valuable tool in managing your business documents and correspondence with us.
Your Secure Client Area does not need to be limited to your correspondence with our Firm. You can also use this area in your own line of business, uploading documents that may need to be accessed by a number of people that require a more secure environment than email.
If you would like additional users linked to your Secure Area please contact us via email. We can organise this for you in a matter of minutes, and each additional user can have their own security settings, giving you the ability to share as much or as little information as you choose.
Accessing your Secure Client Area Once your application has been processed you will receive an email from us containing a one-time generic password to access your Secure Area. Upon logging in for the first time you will be prompted to change this to a password of your choosing. To log in to your Secure Area please follow the link in the email or click here. Your username is the email address you have used to register for Secure Client Area.
Retrieving Documents You will receive an email notifying you every time a file, or files, are uploaded to your Secure Area. To retrieve your documents log in to your Secure Area by following the instructions above. You will then be directed to the Welcome page, and will have two options. Select the link titled "Documents" to be taken to your secure storage area.
The email notification advising of the new files will contain information as to which folder the file has been uploaded to. Simply click the link to the relevant folder from the list on the left hand side of the screen. You will then be presented with all files available for download.
To save the file to your own computer you need to open the file and then choose to "Save As". You can print directly from your Secure Client Area.
There are three default folders created for you, "Documents", "Tax Returns" and "Financials". If you have additional users accessing your Secure Area you can nominate which of these folders they can view. If you require additional folders we can add these for you in a matter of moments.
Sending Documents To send a document to us log in to your Secure Area by following the instructions above. You will then be directed to the Welcome page, and will have two options. Select the link titled "Upload Files".
Simply select the files on your computer that you would like to send us by clicking on the "select" button and navigating to the files location.
Once you have selected the files you would like to upload drop down the "Send to Folder" menu and select which folder you would like these uploaded to. Then click "Send Files".
The files will now be uploaded to your Secure Area and we will receive notification that they have been added.
Maintaining Your Details
With our Secure Client Area you also have the ability to maintain your details online. You can at any time change the email address or password you have registered for accessing your Secure Area.
You can also update your contact information, such as addresses and telephone numbers. To do this click on the "User Details" or "Update Client Details" headings once logged in.
